Debby's 50th Birthday, yay!
Debs went for another cold water swim and celebrated her birthday with some of her swim buddies with a home-made carrot cake. Debs, Janice and I then went out to The Backyard Cafe, about an 8km drive away. Thankfully Janice had booked an inside table where there was a fire going so we were well protected from the elements. After another yummy brunch, paid for by Janice, we returned home. Probably just in time too.
Debby decided that as it was her birthday, she was going to take a coffee and piece of cake, snuggle up in her bed with the dogs, and read and reply to all her birthday messages. Janice and I occupied ourselves for a few hours while Debby did her thing.
All to soon it was time to eat again; we had Thai leftovers with coleslaw, beef pie, and carrot and white sweet potato smash.
A relatively early night.
