Day 16: Wed 4 Sep - Cape Town

12-16 deg C, getting cooler again
Walk: 5km

At the MEPS Business meeting today, Sylvain surprised me by making a speech and thanking me for being a MEPS member since 2003 (Sydney), then presenting me with the words of his speech and a travel diary to log all our travels. Anyway, it was nice to be recognised for the thankless task of being the communications manger.

So, we voted in a new permanent secretary (Petra) and a new VP to replace Petra (Nita), The CommsO job will be rolled back into the VP position as I was doing it as part of my two terms as VP.

Went to the Japanese Pharmaceutical Association reception, also at the Sky Hotel 27th floor. This was a shorter reception as many of the attendees had to leave for the FIP closing dinner.

After getting home about 6pm, I did a partial pack for our departure on Fri 6 Sep, because we have a big and long day planned for tomorrow.

No pictures today.
